Separating Lineart from bg by TemplatesForYou Separating Lineart from bg by TemplatesForYou
Think you might do something similar in other software too. I really have to check once I get my PC back up and working 100%.
This technique can be used 100% for photoshop CS2 and up (I even tried CS5, works perfectly fine)
There was a similar technique somewhere around web, but I can't find it anymore.
Anyhow, enjoy, and give me a nudge in comments if it helped. Cheers.
No uploading elsewhere, just link it to here.
Art in tutorial is stil not uploaded comic panel.

I am very glad it worked out in the end, I would be glad to hear what steps were unclear so I can fix the tutorial? (of course credit will be given for helping out)

Just make it clear that you have to stay on one layer until you say so. In the very beginning, I had two layers rather than just one. Other than that, everything's good.

haha don't worry about credit, its not a big deal. :-P

Thank you! I always seem to manage to do my best lineart on the background layer by accident.
